May I suggest have an Election Coordinator? It did very well for MOO. But with this new system it will be all about numbering candidates and giving them priority.

Do we have guidelines for our priority list or is it just a decision that will be made by the PP?

Yes they are, because the PP puts the Candidates in list of priority for who gets into Congress with the votes for the Party.

The idea of the EC is to draft the order of the candidates based on experience, game age and activity.

I'd throw in the Quality of the Candidate's Presentation as well.

Presentation is important.

-Activity
-Dedication to the party
-Experience

okay, but these articles are not really meant for the single person anymore, the people vote for the party so does it really matter what they say about themselves, its how the people see the party that matters. Though it wouldn't hurt to have them still do a personal article as well.

true but if the part leadership does not like what is being said then they can just not put that person on the list. Any member can write bad stuff about the party but they cant be kicked, only repercussion is being placed low on congress list.

Well I am actually against congress articles. They clutter the media and nobody reads them unless asked to.

Quality should be based on performance or maybe even dedication to the party. With of course giving new players a chance to be successful in politics.

Maybe each congress candidate should write a short paragraph and put it all in group newspaper article.

Since you vote for a party, you should vote for the opinions of each candidate. Individual vote for me articles are now useless since you vote for parties.

In the end its all about putting the best candidates at the top and going down from there, before trying to get as many of them in as possible.

As long as Candidates are ranked on their merits and such and not bribes /youknowwhoyouare its good with me.
