Recruitment Campaign!

Hello UPC Members!

As you know, we are new, and our current goal is to get into the Top 5 Parties so that we can make eCanada better.

To do this, we need members, so we need to start recruiting. Articles about the party, PM's to new and old players without parties, any idea you may have to gain us some new members is welcome.

As of now, the parties whom our merger consisted of are slow to move over, CanVision, my former party still has 9 of the 12 members it had before, MOO has not shown any movement and Zane, their PP has not responded to my messages for a few days, hopefully this will change. However, there are still plenty of new members in eCanada to recruit and help become involved in our Politics, so lets get out there and find them! I'll continue with getting CVP and MOO members to join, as well as some more articles about the Party.

We should look under Canada's Citizenship requests and offer NEW Canadians our Party membership.

If it will work, go for it.

If anyone had noticed, yesterday eCanada had 111 or so new members, may be good to contact as many of them as we can and say hello, so that we are the first Party they hear from.

That way when they are high enough level to join a party, they will be more likely to join us.

We're up to 30 members now, 6th spot Party has only 31.

I've been checking the Online citizens page a lot, finding party-less eCanadians and sending them a message about the party:

I've also talked to some oldies.

I got C. Buzz to join the Party, and I left an open invitation to Shoi12 about joining if he ever wants to join a party. I'm also talking to Mansbridge09 to see if he wants to join.

Lets get this effort going well and Report back here with what we've all been doing to recruit! If you want to make an Article about the Party or something going on in the Party, go for it, with the [UPC] tag on it and get a chain shout going. Lets get to that top 5 spot and make an impact on eCanada!

I've been lurking to try and find online new members, they are very slippery though and hard to catch before they log. I've been talking to a few of UPC's older members who quit before the merger to rejoin now that we are better equipped and a few have been making their way back. So far so pretty damn good brothers!

I contact some people too.

20 members more puts us in the Top 5.

I've PM'd most CVP members asking them to jump over, and will continue to work on them.

Anyways want to tackle PMing the MOO'ers and convincing them to jump over too? Zane seems to be AWOL, but last I heard from him he was on board.

We are now at 39 members, I recruit about 5 this morning, we are quickly growing.

I don't think there's a way unfortunately.

You could go to the online members of Canada thing (I'd post a link but I have to be a member of the forums for a week to do that) and go to the last page. That'll give you low levelled (new) members of Canada who are online.

Wrote this up in about thirty seconds, wish I had more time to write lol.

Its alright, at least it will get their attention. If they write back with questions, you will be able to take some time and answer them there.

Objective: Be in the Top 5 at October 15th is it reasonable?

As long as the parties above us don't gain members we are looking to be up in 5th or 4th by the end of the week. Also haven't heard back from any of the MOO players, dunno if they are all inactives or what's up on that.

My new goal is to get fifth spot by end of day tomorrow, time to start operation mass mail.

Top 5 by PP elections sounds like a good goal. We have to make sure we get new members to join the forums as well, get involved.

Anyone who is willing to help us recruit, should be asked to help. We're at 47 and #5 is at 51, we can do it.

Been sending out mail to partyless players like mad, works surprisingly slower then I thought.

Try using a message that asks them if they are interested in joining a party, and what they're looking for in one if yes. I've gotten better results with that.

I would focus on new players since they are more easily persuaded and I think they get a mission which wants them to join a party (not sure on this). The older party-less players usually don't have a party because they are against politics or some other reason and are hard to get into a party.

I've done a fairly good job with getting older citizens into the party, Most of them are friends though.
